Communication, Literacy, and Learning Support

A More Personal Approach to Communication and Academic Support

Rosa.NYC offers communication and academic support for children who need a more personal, flexible, and practical learning approach.

How We Help Families

Personalized instruction that makes learning fun and fuel your child’s curiosity for knowledge.

Who Our Services Help?

Rosa.NYC provides 1:1 personalized, at-home instruction for families of children with disabilities, learning differences, language-based challenges, autism, dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and executive function difficulties that deserve more direct support. We support children who are nonspeaking, minimally speaking, overwhelmed by traditional school expectations, or learning to thrive outside of the school environment.

What is Offered at Rosa.NYC

Rosa.NYC provides 1:1 personalized, at-home instruction delivered directly by Rosa. Sessions focus on building relationships, developing practical skills, and meeting real-world goals. Support is shaped around how each child processes language and information, focusing on four core areas:

Communication for Verbal and Motor Skills

Practice designed to help children bridge the gap between intention and motor execution. This supports expressive language and the physical mechanics needed for reliable communication.

Literacy Support (Including Dyslexia)

Structured instruction to build reading and writing skills. This approach breaks down phonics, spelling, and comprehension for children with dyslexia or those needing targeted support to catch up.

Executive Function and ADHD Support

Tools for organizing thoughts, managing time, initiating tasks, and reducing daily academic frustration.

Social Executive Function Skills

Guidance on navigating real-time social dynamics, perspective-taking, and flexible thinking to help students connect with others comfortably.
